Health Financial Systems HTML Help features may not work after you install Microsoft security update 896358 or security update 890175.

Hotfix Details
HF200892675 Microsoft issued security updates that created restrictions on HTML help files.
According to Microsoft's knowledgebase article KB892675,
"This problem occurs because security update 896358 and 890175 prevent HTML content that is outside the Local Machine zone from creating an instance of the HTML Help ActiveX control (HHCTRL). This change was introduced to reduce security vulnerabilities in HTML Help."

WARNING

The fix suggested by Microsoft will modify the system registry of your computer. If you are not familiar with modifying the system registry, please contact someone in your IT department to have it done for you. Also, your IT department might restrict you from modifying your system registry, in which case the fix described below will need to be done by them instead.
HFS Customer Support will not modify your system registry.

DOWNLOAD

We suggest the fix described in Example 2 of the Microsoft article.
A .REG file with this fix is available (inside the ZIP file) here: hf892675.zip

To use the REG file:

  1. BACK UP YOUR SYSTEM REGISTRY FIRST (find out how)
  2. Download the ZIP file to your computer,
  3. Extract the HF892675.REG file from the ZIP file,
  4. Open Windows Explorer and navigate to the .REG file,
  5. Double-click on the file. You will be asked if you want to add items to the registry. Answer yes.
Your system should now allow the HTML help files.
If it doesn't, restart the computer and try the help file again.
If it still will not let you view the help file, contact your IT department.
