Hotfix HF20100309CNR: Class Not Registered

User's who receive this message when trying to open a worksheet need to register the HFS software components with the Windows operating system. Follow the instructions below to register these components. After following these instructions you still encounter this message, please contact HFS Customer Support (888.216.6041) and we will assist you and/or your IT department to resolve these issues.

To correct the Class Not Registered message follow these steps:

  1. Make sure you are logged into your computer as the Administrator. If you are not sure how to do this or your account is not an Administrator account, contact your IT department for assistance.

  2. Register the components by clicking on the following link and RUNNING the program.
    HFS Components Registration Program
    The program will attempt to register the HFS software components. If it cannot find where your HFS MCRIF32 software is located, it will prompt you for a location. Provide a valid location and press the OK button.

  3. Once the HFS software components are successfully registered with Windows, the program will give you a "success" message.

  4. Start the HFS MCRIF32 software, open a file and try to open a form. You should not see the Class Not Registered message.
